- How to Export Bookmarks From Safari
Exporting Bookmarks From Other Browsers
Every browser should be capable of exporting a .html file (not a .csv) containing your bookmarks. This is a filetype all major browsers understand how to parse, which is why you can import and export bookmarks freely between of them. Use your favorite search engine to find out how to export bookmarks from your particular browser, then Upload Bookmarks To Linkidex.
Step 2: Upload Bookmarks To Linkidex
Go to your account page on Linkidex and click Upload File next to the text Import Bookmarks.
- Select the HTML file you previously saved from Firefox, and click Open.
- Thats it! Refresh the page and you will now see Show Past Imports detailing every time you have uploaded your bookmarks to Linkidex.
If you navigate back to your links, you will now see the links you uploaded. Note it may take several minutes for Linkidex to read through your file and create all of your Links. You can repeat the above process multiple times if you have multiple browsers or computers you want to import bookmarks from. If any errors occur while Linkidex processes your bookmarks, a message will appear in the ‘past imports’ table.
