Release Notes - Stripe Integration

Linkidex is partnered with stripe! This is probably not very exciting for users, but its super exciting for me because it means I can make money, and making money is the ideal way to run a company.

What We Use Stripe For

Stripe will be handling any and all payment logic for Linkidex. I have delegated everything I can regarding payments to stripe. Stripe is not the cheapest payment processor Linkidex could use, but I trust them and they have fantastic developer tools. Users will be able to manage their Linkidex subscriptions through a stripe portal. They can change credit card info, cancel their subscription and more all via Stripe. Stripe will also send transactional emails such as reminders that your subscription will be renewing.

There is a ton of behind the scenes work that went into this, which I may or may not discuss in a technical blog post in the future. The notable changes for users is as follows:

  • Organizations can now support up to 100 users.
  • Organizations are charged on a per seat basis.
  • Managing your organization’s seat counts can be done via stripe through an individual Organization’s management page. (If you have billing permissions for an org, navigate to your organizations and click the manage organization Icon on the right)
